For any avid tween, scrolling through racks of nail polish is a pastime that requires no introduction; the range of shades and colors available is almost endless. However, amid the seemingly limitless options, what hues prevail among tween enthusiasts?
When it comes to choosing the favorite nail polish color of tweens, a recent poll revealed that pink reigns supreme. Nearly 6 in 10 survey respondents favored pink, while purple and red were selected with equal frequency at a rate of 20% each. It appears that the top three choices for tween nails are pink, purple, and red, in that order!
Color preferences among tweens and adults seem to vary greatly, as a recent survey found that those aged nine to twelve are significantly more likely to don brighter and more dazzling hues. In fact, nearly 70% of these youths reported that colorful clothing is their preference, versus a mere 50% or less of grown-ups. This may well be a result of tweens trying out various styles as they transition from childhood to adolescence.
Regarding the hottest colors among the tween population, pink, purple, and red take the cake, and fierier tones are number one.
