A specialized tool designed to secure nails into concrete, the concrete nail gun is also known as a powder-actuated mechanism. By utilizing a powerful yet small explosive charge, the instrument is operated by a trigger on the handle. In essence, each press of the trigger causes an unstoppable surge of strength to drive a nail into the hard surface of concrete.
Constructed in the early 1900s, the concrete nail gun provided a revolutionary tool for fastening wood to concrete – a task formerly done by hand. Eventually, the gun was employed in auto manufacturing and structural builds of bridges and other buildings.
